Technology (Tech) and Non-Technology (Non-Tech) Constituencies in the Saskatchewan 2024 Provincial General Election
In this election there will be tech constituencies (election workers use voter information card scanners and strike off and register voters on the voters list using a laptop computer) and non-tech constituencies (the same work is done using paper forms).
If you live in any of the Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Swift Current and Yorkton constituencies, or in the constituencies of The Battlefords or Martensville-Blairmore, you will vote in a location using technology. If you live anywhere else in the province, you’ll vote in a non-tech location.
Voters cast a ballot in the same manner in all 61 constituencies, with a paper ballot and pencil. All ballots will be counted by hand. There are no electronic ballots, voting machines, or counting machines used in a Saskatchewan provincial election.
