2017 Periodic List of Voters for Registered Political Parties

The Periodic List of Voters was produced from Elections Saskatchewan’s Permanent Register of Voters (PRV) on Friday, September 29, 2017. This updated list is available from the Elections Saskatchewan FTP site. The ability to provide this type of updated information to you as registered political parties is a key benefit of the PRV.

This list contains eligible voters whom our voter register update system considers to currently reside in Saskatchewan, are of voting age, and have consented at some point with either Elections Saskatchewan or Elections Canada to appear on a permanent voters list. There are also 692 voters whom have chosen to not permit Elections Saskatchewan to share their information – these individuals do not appear on this, or any other, voters list.

The previous complete voters list shared with you was the Final Voters List that was produced after the 2016 General Election and made available to you on September 15, 2016.

Since that time, Saskatchewan has conducted two by-elections: Saskatoon Meewasin and Saskatoon Fairview. The new list reflects changes including voter-initiated registrations and updates that occurred during these electoral events. Information from Elections Canada was also used to update voter information in these two constituencies. eHealth information received up to May 2017 has been used to update voter information province-wide.

The cumulative types of changes made since the Final Voters List was created are:

  • Moves = 31,527
  • Removals = 22,454
    • deceased = 12,261
    • moved out of province = 6,839
    • no known physical address = 2,739
    • moved with no new address = 406
    • duplicates = 193
    • opt-out = 12
    • not qualified = 4
  • Additions = 1,063
  • Corrections = 4,918
