March 8, 2016 – Constituency returning offices for all 61 Saskatchewan constituencies are now open.

“It’s been a busy year scouting out and securing office space and temporary facilities equipment in each of our 61 provincial constituencies,” says Dr. Michael Boda, Chief Electoral Officer of Saskatchewan. “Returning officers and election clerks will call these offices home for much of the next two months as we get ready for the April 4 election.”

The complete list of returning officers, returning offices, hours of operation, phone numbers and email addresses can be found at www.elections.sk.ca/returningoffices.

These offices will be open:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Thursday – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday – closed

These constituency offices are where election officials prepare the polling station packages needed to get ready for 815,000 eligible voters in Saskatchewan. Across the province, there are roughly 1,700 voting places that host roughly 3,600 polls.Elections SK

In total, for all voting places including election day voting places, advance voting, mobile voting and voting in hospitals, personal care homes and remand centres, election workers will handle:

  • 7,970 pencils
