Technology (Tech) and Non-Technology (Non-Tech) Constituencies in the Saskatchewan 2024 Provincial General Election
In the 2024 provincial election there were tech constituencies (election workers used voter information card scanners and looked up voters on the voters list using a laptop computer) and non-tech constituencies (the same work is done using paper forms).
Residents of the Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Swift Current and Yorkton constituencies, or in the constituencies of The Battlefords or Martensville-Blairmore, voted in a location using technology. If you live anywhere else in the province, you voted in a non-tech location.
Voters casted a ballot in the same manner in all 61 constituencies, with a paper ballot and pencil. All ballots were counted by hand. There are no electronic ballots, voting machines, or counting machines used in a Saskatchewan provincial election.
